So as I continue to release Shamly & Monty’s wedding festivities, I wanted to share a little more about how they found each other. A friend basically introduced them but not just them individually, their families were also introduced. Although it was upto Shamly and Monty to decide if they liked each other enough to move forward, the family approval was also sought from the beginning, hence the term “arranged.”
Over the course of a year and a half, Shamly & Monty grew closer together, fell in love and decided to get married but their marriage is still considered a modern day “arranged marriage.” Obviously, the definition of arranged has evolved significantly over generations. The official engagement ceremony did not exactly involve him getting down on one knee but the exchange of rings in the presence of friends and family. Here’s a peek at the Engagement ceremony!
