Through the lens of karma

The feeling of new beginnings is still in the air as I wind down the first month of the new decade!
This threshold where I stand today, gives me so much hope. Hope for more positivity, that will lead me into a better and stronger tomorrow. With this feeling, I decided to dedicate my Sunday to Karma Kitchen …and I am so glad I did.
I thought I was just going to go volunteer in Berkeley with some charitable hippies and earn some good karma in the process but I was naive to think so! I found myself surrounded by so many amazing people––an enlightened monk, a lost soul, a finance-girl, a story-teller, a regular guy who meditates 2+hrs a day/EVERYDAY, and here is one I never thought I’d meet––a "luthier" (that is someone who makes guitars). I certainly never expected to ever meet some of the people I did. The feeling of generosity was oozing from every person and every corner of this place and I’m so thankful to have served amongst the company of such gracious souls! Yes Toan, I am definitely starting to focus through the powerful lens of karma!
